Durango Agility Dogs is pleased to offer the following classes during the summer 2010. Novice and Year 2 classes will be offered in 6-week blocks. Handling and drills classes will be offered as drop-ins. Six-week courses will cost $90 for non-members and $75 for members; the obedience course is $45, and the drop-in courses will be $10 a session with the opportunity to purchase multiple tickets at a discounted rate.
Class Information:
Two novice classes will be offered over the course of the summer: Novice A followed by Novice B. Novice dogs are required to have obedience and must demonstrate those skills prior to taking a novice course; or must complete the 3-week obedience course prior to Novice A. Once a team has completed the Novice B course, they must join the club to continue with our training program.
Pre-Agility Obedience: This is a 3-week class designed for dogs and handlers who have had no obedience classes or would like a refresher. The class is designed to teach sit, stay, down, and a recall. Some groundwork for agility will also be incorporated.
